Abbey

D left at sparrowfart to get the Conserver from Granton Harbour for his first day on the island. I went up town for a few messages and passed through John Lewis en route. It occurred to me to go up to the top floor to check the view from their cafeteria and was very pleased to see Inchcolm in plain sight. Camera almost at full stretch, and JL's windows were not at all clean, but although it's not possible to make out DaveH waving, you can see the abbey clearly, directly behind the wee island (Inchmickery?). I reckon it's about 6 miles away as the gull flies.


And he saw his first puffins of the season......  :-)
