I rained heavily during the night and then off and on during the day, culminating this afternoon in thunderstorms and a tornado warning.  A warning means that rotation was picked up on radar but fortunately, no tornado actually touched down.  I kept an eye on the weather and was ready to head for the basement, but the storm quickly passed.
