Sunrise over the bowling green

This is a local bowling green (bowls is popular in Worthing, I think the national headquarters are here), looking rather splendid on the way home from the school drop off.

Have spent most of today in town doing the last bits of shopping. It was pretty horrid. And I still have one last thing to pick up from the post office becuase the queue to pick up parcels went out of the door and round the block (I only exaggerate a little). Why can't the flippin' post office sort themselves out and put one or two more staff on at Christmas????!!!! Arrrrghhhhhhh.

Children's last day today, and we are all on holiday, hooray!!
