Delicate

I found this toadstool today on our walk along the old railway line. It seems out of season and there were no others, so perhaps that's why it caught my attention. I liked the way the struggling sun managed to make itself seen, reflected in the water gathered on its delicately frilled top.
The sun has struggled all day today and the rain has more or less won...not sure we will see much sun at all tomorrow but ArchieMacDoodle will welcome the puddles on his walk.
