Hall painted!

Two painters came to do the hall and vestibule. They arrived at 9am, had plenty of fag breaks, and a lunch break, did two coats, and finished at 3pm. They did a very tidy job, too - we'll get them to quote on doing the sitting room.

The other quote we got was for a whole week, and almost double the cost...

Guess the Poles and the Scot...

JR and Archie popped out to the Links for a wee walk. Dave came round to fit the long-awaited new loo seat. But there seems to be something not quite right with it... and the colour isn’t quite the same as the base... the saga continues.

Our Kiwi friends are in Skye and saw a few drops of rain briefly for the first time since arriving in Scotland last week.
