Scavenging
I strolled past Windley Pool to view the wild birds and their feeders.. It seems to have become a santury for the majestic bird the swan. There were over twenty on the pool today - the most I've ever seen. Mallards, tuffed ducks, coots, gulls and moorhens (not fogetting the large gaggle of Canada Geese!) were ever-present. A very shy tufted grebe appeared fleetingly some distance away.
Into the park itself were the lone runners topping up their exercise for the day. Folk walking a wide range of types of dog.
This crow appeared from amongst the undergrowth seaching for his daily rations, whislt a compatriot looked on from high in the tree. He strutted across the path to disappear back amongst to high tufted grasses.
Out of curiosity I looked up what a group of crows is called.. A Murder of Crows sounds very dramatic !!
