Almost finished...

What a pain this has been!   I've painted the silver three times and to make matters worse it's the hardest part of the model to finish.  For some reason the varnish I normally use has decided to react with the silver paint and overnight it tarnished to dark brown.  I tried a different spray varnish last night and it happened again. At last, seen here at the third attempt stage,  it appears that a different silver paint has cured the problem.

Just the glazing to complete in the morning then I'll join the others on the Lochs and Glens shelf.
