Australasian Harrier Hawk

This beautiful fellow has got very bad lead poisoning.(He has probably eaten a rabbit that has been shot with lead shot). His legs were tightly clenched. Our vet has straightened  and splinted them.He is having special drugs which will leech the lead from his bones. We are hopeful he will survive. He has an enormous appetite which is always positive.
