There should be a good crop of apples on the tree, the tree over the fence which we must inadvertently have sown by throwing an apple core over. The fruit lasts quite well during the winter and is heavenly with pork.

Funky Jane took the AquaAerobics class this morning. She wears leggings with each leg in totally different colours and designs with a plain yellow jacket to match. Love it.

Hairdressers and then Baxter's Tea Room. At each destination I was asked, 'Where's Basil?' I explained I couldn't take him to the swimming pool.

Baz and I had a super walk late this afternoon on the top of Hathern Hill. Usually, the ground is soggy and muddy but it's been so dry this winter that the going was very tolerable. Cloudscape over Ives Head is the extra.
