Day 115/19. The Main Square, Prypyat, Ukraine

Prypyat is the deserted town 2km north of the Chernobyl nuclear power accident site.
Over 40,000 people were evacuated from the town in late April 1986 after the Chernobyy Reactor 4 exploded. Given just 3 hours notice, none were ever to return.
This is the Main Town Square 33 years on, now being reclaimed by nature. Photo taken this morning from the roof of the Prypyat Hotel, see extra picture.
