Why is a pterodactyl quiet in the bathroom?
Another long uneventful day in the library. As uneventful as it might’ve been, it was productive. I’m feeling much more confident about one course that I was dreading so that’s a positive. After a good morning I grabbed a quick lunch and then headed back. I’m always quite tired and sluggish after my lunch and so put my head down on the desk to ‘rest my eyes,’ I shot up 20 minutes later after a quick nap and, much to the amusement of those around me, I’d been snoring while I was napping and managed to wake myself up. Quite embarrassing, but at least it gave everyone (including me) a good giggle.
I headed home in the early evening to rest, with plans to meet JD once she’d finished and grab a “quick” dinner, then head for an evening climb. But with JD and I in no rush and, as always, in fits of laughter and deep in conversation, time had slipped right past us and it was past 10pm by the time we left the restaurant so there was no time to climb. So we headed home in the mizzle that had descended upon Edinburgh. To climb another day.
