Me. Working hard.

So, nobody really seems to think the world is about to end. What if it does though? Would we all be happy with our lot in life? I've learnt recently that right now is really all that matters. Not what has gone before or what is yet to come. Right now is whats important. If you're happy "right now" you'll always be happy as right now is ever present. Right now I feel happy. I'm grateful to have had such a wonderful family growing up, memories of whom linger in my head. I'm grateful to have met my soon to be ex-wife. We did have some lovely times together. Many in fact. They are just memories now. I'm grateful for the wonderful son she's given me. I'm grateful to him for all the warmth I have felt from him through his smiles, words, outstretched arms, giggles and the arts and crafts he regularly produces for me. I'm grateful for my health. For 41 years I've been very healthy and long may it continue (if the world continues). I am grateful to have enjoyed sport, learning and the technological age. Lastly, I'm grateful for the last year and a half. I've learnt so much from her and felt loved. "Lovers don't finally meet somewhere, their in each other all along". One day i'll understand that as i should but to me it means that the love I had for her was reflected and she loved me back. Anyway, there's no reason to be unhappy. These things have made me happy. I smile thinking about it all.
Next year (if it happens) brings some major changes or perhaps a better word is "adjustments". There is much to be excited about.
Right now I'm happy ;)
Thanks for reading this.
