Bird's Eye Butterfly View

We spotted a green-veined-white butterfly hanging from a stitchwort flower on our walk last evening just before dark. I couldn't wait to return this morning to see if it was still there. 

The sun was up but hadn't reached the bank where the greater stitchwort grows. The butterfly was still in position and I've snapped it from above. I do so love stitchwort and the insects that it attracts.

Ollie dog and I went to Epping to collect her flea/tick medication from the vet and walked in the forest afterwards. We got caught in a couple of showers. We saw a nuthatch, we don't see them at home.
