Bleeding Heart

I went to our neighborhood nature center to shoot some birds (with my camera!). But I had Laney in the back of the car, because we had just gone to the nearby dog park. Unfortunately, Laney was eager to get home to her "after the dog park" treat, so she barked her complaints. I thought she would be tuckered out and content to snooze in the back of the car. Wrong!
So here is the best of my few shots. This Spotted Towhee is singing his heart out. And then I noticed a little red spot on his chest.
