Gin in a tin!

So the sunshine has disappeared and jackets and scarves are back on!

David and Kenny were playing golf in the afternoon so Ele and I joined them  for lunch at the clubhouse, while Alan headed out for the day with Jordan.

Lingering over coffee, I realised I didn't have a house key with me so Ele and I had no way of getting back into the house!  I texted Jordan to see where they were and if we could meet them to get Alan's key but I suspected Jordan was driving so wasn't surprised when I didn't receive a reply.  Hmmmmm.....what to do?

Well we did the only thing decent thing under the circumstances.....we went to the the Coop and bought gin in a tin, a packet of vegetable crisps and headed to the Gin Palace!  (Luckily I had a fob for the electric garage door in my bag so we could sneak through the garage to get to the GP :-)

And so, I officially declare the Gin Palace open for Season 2019!!  God bless her and all who get sozzled socialise in her!
