Mount Parnassus

Today we left Athens and headed north to the mountains where we could see snow, the residue of a cold wet and snowy winter for the Greeks.

Down in the valleys we saw crops of cereals and potatoes well advanced and land being prepared for drilling cotton, in May. Cotton has become an important crop for both the fibres and the oil which is extracted from the cotton seeds.
We are now in Delphi.
