Day 20: Weather

... And rainy day activities.

Miserable day today, flooding in places and generally wet & dark.

E still off school but the sick has stopped so hopefully turned a corner. They usually bounce back quick don't they. Strange having her so quiet, and still.

L on the other hand has been a cheeky monkey all day. She missed soccer tots as we couldn't bring poorly E so she mad sure she got her exercise by climbing all over the table, emptying the contents of the wardrobe, refusing to have a nap, showering us with in money from every purse & money box in the house and decapitating the gingerbread men!

Very jealous of M today, getting to go to a pantomime with the school. I enjoyed listening to her tell us all about it when she came home.

Once M was home we started making some gingerbread men but she got fed up quickly and left me to it. I think I've tested about 20 of them to make sure they're tasty enough. I have a real vice for gingerbread.

Started making the last of the Xmas pressies this evening. I have to admit I'm not a very tidy worker. At school my presentation always got me in trouble. Think I will be here a long time trying to pass this off as a high enough standard to be a gift.
