Discharge

I left the ignition on last night and now the battery is flat. I connect the charger and head for the bike ... which also has a flat battery. Nick & Helen lend me a car to jump start it, and I’m off.

During the day reports drop in from Megan and Angus about their exams this morning. Mixed reports.

After work the bike battery is flat again. Replacement seems necessary. I roll the bike onto Restalrig Road, jump starting it on the hill.

It’s getting cooler on the way home, but the house is super warm. Claire gets depressed looking at her calendar clashes. I stay awake for a late night call with Phil on the west coast of the US.
