Lighthouse

The St Peter Port Lighthouse is the first image as you enter the harbour. I always think it is a friendly sight as I have memories of arriving here from a bad sea crossing from France in our sailing boat a few years ago. It is such a good feeling to reach this place :)

The lighthouse causeway is open to the public and often you can see people walking along the causeway. It smells a bit once you get to the light as it is also the haunt of rod fishermen. There are seats all round and its easy to find a place to sit out of the wind :)
