Tidying up..

the garden today and noticed the little seed pods on the Cleome plants split open. The seeds themselves are no bigger than a pin head. And then.. when I looked closer there was something else, shield bugs I wondered? Google tells me that the very young shield bugs only eat the unripe seeds of certain plants. Something new I learned today.  The food source for these bugs is no longer available.
