Carols

Are these characters called Carol? If so, what's caught the Carols' eye? What is it that's so interesting down to my left?

The blue police box, perhaps?

No, we've just returned from J's college's service of readings and carols at Great St Mary's and good it was too. We detoured, at E's suggestion, by way of the sparkly-decorated shopping arcade; much more tasteful than previous years.

Otherwise today's been a day like most this week - dull and/or wet. It was lightened by a just-before-Christmas trip to the pub at lunchtime.

I guess I ought to do some shopping soon?
