Christmas tree

Finally it's the day to get the Christmas tree in and decorated; every year when we get the boxes down from the roof, it always strikes me that it only seems about 5 minutes since we were packing it all away. Every year when I pack away, I wonder what the next year will bring, and if things will get better...and usually they don't!
Our Christmas decs are an eclectic mix of decorations that were bought to appeal to the children, and then, a couple of years ago, I splashed out on a set of cool coordinating ones, in a vague attempt to go for something a bit more stylish. However, the kids combine both when decorating, and now they are big, I can't get away with taking stuff off and redoing it again without them noticing!
