Getting Better

We woke to torrential rain and so it was for some time this morning.

But by the time I was coming home, the skies were clearing and the sun was out again.

I spent a very pleasant hour with an ex-pupil and his family, having afternoon tea. After a few nerve-wracking moments, he managed to get into uni in the UK and is studying aerospace engineering in Bristol. And doing very well too. His parents seemed to think I played a large part in his success, which is always nice.

Let's see what this year's cohort can manage.
