I had lunch today with my friend David, for our annual show images from our winter in France.  It's fun to put together a show like that--it brings back a lot of things. This was the view from our restaurant table. David is one of my most faithful blip-followers, commenting most days by email; he's a professor of ornithology, but his knowledge and perspicacity extend far beyond birds :)
