Happy granny April!

The cherry tree has come into flower, giving me the opportunity to hang the "house martenitsa" sent to us by Ю (who is И's mother). For new readers, in Bulgaria this is an ancient pagan tradition acknowledging Баба Марта (Grandmother March). Last year's martenitsa (which went up on 7 May) did its job since we had our best ever crop of cherries. Pizho and Penda (Пижо и Пенда) aren't looking too bad for having spent a year together in a Scottish cherry tree, so I've left them up!
