London
Wow what a day! We got the train to London early this morning. We had some time to see the Harry Potter shop in Kings Cross but they were queuing outside the station to get inside so we avoided that and went for coffee instead. We made it over to the London Eye and joined the queue to get on. The heavens opened and we had a lovely hail storm to stand in. Finally we got in our pod and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. The children loved seeing the city skyline and Alexander enjoyed train spotting from up high!
After spending over an hour trying to find somewhere for lunch as everywhere was so full, we made it to the Natural History Museum (after queuing again!) We had an amazing time looking at the dinosaur exhibition and we found Andy’s Clock! Phoebe went off with James to see the Human Biology exhibition and when she came out she said she now knows how babies are made! But luckily didn’t fully understand it!! A fantastic but exhausting day. Note to self- do not visit London in the holidays you will spend most of the day in queues.
