Spontaneous lunch

James has gone back to Oxford today on the coach.  After I finished work I took him out for a spontaneous lunch at The Crown as I realised that we hadn't done anything just the two of us for all the time he'd been home.

I'm having to face the reality that he's no longer going to be coming home for weeks at a time.  He has a job lined up after completing his Masters course which is all very exciting, but a bit hard to get my head around.

But, it's all as it should be, and he's fortunate to be going to  do something he's good at, and enjoys.  But make the most of the last few months of being a student James, work hard now and party hard later! xxx
