Coming To Life

Another fine evening and a little study of the woodland floor reveals emerging new growth spot lit  by sunlight steaking through the trees.

Not the most dramatic scene by any means, but what attracts me are all the details in the leaves and rocks and twigs, the combination of textures and the rich woodland colours.

I don't suppose the little plants are of any significance, however they show the undergrowth coming to life as we enter Spring.
