Peace please

This sheep reminded me of the painting by the brothers Van Eyck "The Mystic Lamb" in Gent's cathedral St. Bavo (seen that years ago) and I thought it an appropriate image for Easter.

However the incoming news over the terrorist killings in Sri Lanka overshadowed Easter 2019 completely and I wonder if this "tit-for-tat" reaction will ever end... I wish so, but wonder when.

If Only! If only those angry young folks the world all over, learned reason from the elders in their societies; since they learned by living life to defuse their fury and make peace.
