Rain, Rain, go away

We had a flood warning this morning. The river was pretty low then. Not so low now, it has risen a foot or so throughout the day, and has a few inches more before it goes over the bank into the garden. It has however stopped raining so fingers crossed it will go down a bit before the next load of rain on Saturday. IT does not help that the ground is utterly sodden.

Today was my last full day in the office until the New Year, although I have to pop in for a bit tomorrow then work from home for the rest of the day.
