Begonia

I love the clear tones of begonias, they are bold and beautiful.

Today we rode over to see Kristy and the 4 boys. They live about 5k from here. We were clever and took a short cut but ended up getting a bit lost. They have laneways connecting the streets and we took the wrong one. No problem. The trip home downhill hardly required any effort. Bob fixed Oscars bike, took Max for a ride on the electric bike and played soccer in the back garden. Kristy and I had the rare opportunity to have a nice chat. Usually we are too occupied with the kids to get anything said.

Our autumn is late arriving. We are having beautiful warm days, it’s mostly frosty by late April. I’m not complaining but worry about climate change and what is happening to the norm.
