One of the Reasons I Love Where I Live!
I got this picture with my phone, from a really long distance, soooooo, up front I acknowledge its a rather poor photo.....
BUT: This old duffer was out walking his little dog. He's dottery, weak with rather poor balance, hence the walker. He sits when he looses all his breath, and then moves on.
But, by golly.......... he gets out of the house every day, keeps what strength that he has, uses his head and neck rather than letting the mobility slip away........ I really think his dog is walking him, and it makes me smile every time I see him out, nearly daily (even in the rain).
I live in a place where the old, the disabled, the lonely, can and do get out and enjoy every minute of every day, as long as you live. This gentle has something else to be responsible to, besides his ache and pains.
And by the way, there is a rescue here in OTOW that takes the dogs and cats that get left behind when someone passes. The animals are found a home, to continue their amazing work of companionship to someone thats alone.
