Mono Monday -- well, they are sitting opposite each other!

A rainy day for the traditional St-Loup (Easter Monday) picnic. Albeit not as bad as last year. The early arrivals grabbed the tables under the trees. The rest of us stood around in light drizzle till some trestle tables were found and put up on the covered stage on the Terrain des Fêtes so that we could stay dry. 

It was not a day for lazing in the sun after lunch ... but in the early evening a good number of people were assembled at S and R's house for a scratch meal of various contributed bits and pieces, and plenty of wine and increasingly rowdy talk. When you find yourself trying to explain Irish politics to a French person, it's time to go home ...
