Stone of Setter (Day 1447)

I took the ferry across to Eday this morning, meaning I had to be at the dock at 630. The boat left at 7, and it took two and a half hours to get to Eday, a ridiculously long trip.
Once on the island, I made my way to the customer's house where I installed her new washing machine, tightened a connection on an outside tap, and turned down the temperature on her hot water thermostat. I was finished in less than an hour. There was another job to look at, and then a bonus bathroom quote to do. Even so, I was finished by lunchtime and with nothing else to do I had a bit of a drive around. With Eday being fairly small, it didn't take long. I stopped a few times to take some pictures but liked this one of the Stone of Setter best.
The ferry left at 4.30, arriving in Kirkwall at 7pm. It has been a long day and it is so good to be back home with my beautiful wife
