Be Kind!

I found these little cards in Anthropologie. I wish I'd bought them now!

Maybe I need to leave them out around school.....;-)

Lucy came to play for a little bit this afternoon. It was very hot, and we pottered about in the garden looking for bugs, and watching Little B dig a hole under the fence. 

In the end we came inside and read some books and sang some songs. She had a nice time sitting in the car that she remembered was upstairs, and when I asked her if she wanted me to take her up there, she said "yes".

Cue ten minutes of getting in and out of the car and pretending to drive and beep the horn. Distraction proved a treat when it came to getting her out of it- I asked her if she wanted to look out of the window to see the real cars.
