None of that fancy focacia and posh cream soup nonsense for Soupdragon Hilda, nope, she opted to go back to basics and produced a classic Scotch Broth served with soft rolls and fresh bread and it went down a storm with demands for seconds and clean plates all round.

Another great soup day that was only bettered by her offering of oven fresh ( baked at 6.30 this morning) seasonal mince piece served with tea as our mid afternoon snack.
