Norfolk Pines

You find many Norfolk pines in coastal towns in Australia. Apparently, Captain Cook, and other early European explorers planted them because they grow very straight and very fast and were a good investment for future ship repairs.

Not sure if that’s why they’re here, but I love seeing them :)
