After yesterday, I thought I better keep it rolling and get our own garden in (some) order today. 2 lawns cut and strimmed and we took down a tree in the back garden. 

We'd planted it from a free sapling some 12 years ago just as a temporary measure in an area we have always planned for something else... but it was now as big as any other of our trees, about 10m, and it was getting to the point where we wouldn't be able take it down ourselves. I don't like taking down trees, we'll need to replace it elsewhere in the garden.

After all that I had a beer in the garden as Ms H tormented Jess.
