Spring Cleaning

Our Mennonite neighbors called in 4 other families to help us with spring cleaning the 3 acres of my property. We get rid of winter-kill, weeds, pine needles and a zillion buckets of pine cones every spring. It usually takes us about 2 to 4 days. They had my place and our 93 year old neighbor's place cleaned and burned in about 4 hours. We barbequed hot dogs, brats and burgers, made huge pots of baked beans and potato salad. They made short work of all of it!  To be young and strong again....*sigh*
Since most of their grandparents are out of state, they call us their Montana Grandmas. What fine grandkids we have!
