Easter baby.....

Another warm day, maybe not as hot as yesterday though .
Things didn’t start well as the loader tractor with all the feeding on it ground to a halt in the middle of the yard. However, being a McCormick, was pretty sure it was the usual fault- one of the main fuses had rotted off again. So a quick go with a socket set and connected the main wire without the fuse got things moving again .
An afternoon spent checking fences down the road ready to put cattle out. Will need to go back with the chain saw as quite a few branches over the electric fence. Also a few broken stobs and a tree has smashed up some pailing fence.
This cow calved about 4 pm in the rashes but decided to leg it when I turned up. Also had a second one calve tonight about 9 o’clock so fingers crossed they have both sucked by the morning.
