All 6 of them
What a day, started the dinner late by putting the meat (Chicken, Lamb and Pork) on at 0830 instead of the normal 0700! It was a planned lateness as I was going to the War Memorial in Gloucester for the laying of wreath to commemorate the Battle of Imjin River.
The Blipfoto for today shows all 6 grandchildren together, not an opportunity to be missed, which of course I did so I've stolen Johanna's photograph. I can't get them all into the thumbnail, won't stretch enough!
We are missing Cherry, our Step Granddaughter, she is back home in Lincolnshire.

The wreath laying ceremony was short but poignant. The Battle of Imjin River is where the Gloucestershire Regiment fought an heroic rearguard action which resulted in many of them being killed and the rest taken prisoner by the North Koreans. The chap in the extra, second from the right, was one of those prisoners of war, very badly treated by the Koreans and he was told that if anyone escaped they should try to find a Chinese patrol as they would be treated better by the Chinese rather than the Koreans.
He survived but suffers due to the treatment he received at the hands of the Koreans.
