Easter Sunday

It’s been three days now since CCN and I have ventured into Blackheath. We’ve been quite content to stay at Wombat Hollow and let our visitors head out our way to see us. From all accounts the village has been jam packed with tourists all weekend. I had a taste of it today when I buzzed down to the Loganbrae Orchard to pick up a box of apples. There was a queue right out the door. I took my camera with me because I wanted to see if I could get a decent shot of the spectacular Sasanqua Hedge that is currently in full bloom directly across the road from the Orchard. It was planted by the original owner and it’s been fascinating to watch it grow over the past twenty years. It is now a very effective privacy screen for the property.
