Burning Grappa for the Wild Man

"Grappa Ardente dell'Uomo Selvatico"

My good friend Ermanno at La Capannina had me try this special grappa today from his Serafino Levi Neive collection. Levi was famous both for the great quality of his grappa and also for the individual hand drawn labels. This one is just plain with a nice description. Some are quite amusing or artistic. As you can tell from the dusty and dirty label, this bottle has been around a while and I'm really not sure how old it is... no tax labels or official declaration of alcohol content, etc. I'm surprised Ermanno even opened this bottle, but one has to live to the fullest and that means sometimes to take time to appreciate the special things in life!!!
