Below the pohutukawa

I woke in time to be outside watching the sky change as sunrise approached. The clouds caught the light and showed many hues. When the sun was fully revealed a few minutes later, it cast a bright path across the bay to the foot of the cliff (see the extra).

A quiet day thereafter with older daughter C also here. I spent most of the day finishing a spy novel, and feel better for the relaxation.
