The accidental finding

A market day, today, with hordes of customers all intent on buying things for 50p or a pound! I ended up selling my table decorations (chickens, bunnies, etc) once the reduced price cards had gone. Steve had pretty much the same experience, though he didn't have any bunnies ;)

Outside, it was a glorious day. I went to the library to collect a reservation, but it was closed for Easter. Crowds of people were picnicking in the churchyard, sitting on the grass. Summer has arrived! CleanSteve has blipped Tweedy the Clown from Gifford's circus, performing on the high street to a crowd of delighted onlookers.

A friend dropped by to keep me company during the afternoon. By this time it was quiet, and I was glad of the chance to catch up. By the time I'd packed up, gone home, unpacked (I've got everything on shelves now, it's so much easier) and done my books, it was after 6pm. Bomble and I had a bit of sun-time in the cabin, then the rest of the evening got frittered away...

One thing we both love, and which is never a waste of time, is watching Wild at Heart on BBC Scotland. This programme looks at the sick or injured wild animals that are taken in by the Scottish RSPCA, and rehabilitated where possible, before being released back into their original habitat. Tonight it was the turn of the Sea Eagles.

I keep falling asleep, by which phenomenon I deduce that it's bedtime. Night night...
