Padre processing

Wandered round Mourão for the Good Friday procession - but like a funeral procession for Jesus - very powerful! LOADS of people, candles, statue of dead Jesus in a bier being carried round, couple of other statues, incense... and powerful singing in Latin at every stop. Ending with as many people as could pack into the church watching Jesus being laid in a coffin and the lid being slammed shut (making half the congregation jump out their skin!).
