Paschal Candle 2019

Beautiful Easter's Eve service tonight with the lighting of the Paschal Candle and renewal of baptismal vows. Only a very small congregation sadly but very special for those of us that were there.
The church is looking beautiful, we have some very talented flower arrangers. I'm looking forward to seeing it bathed in natural light tomorrow.
Today was, as ever busy, a trip to the Gyle with A after she had done her Park Run... No mean feat in today's temperature which topped 22 in the afternoon. Back home for lunch then we took MinL to visit C's cousin in her lovely new home. I don't envy her moving from 7 bedrooms to 2, so many boxes and decisions to make about what to part with. It's going to be a lovely home for her though with a very sunny and manageable garden.
Back home and I planted my sweet peas and garden peas. Fingers crossed I've missed the frost. My potatoes are chitting nicely in the kitchen and I think can wait a couple of weeks. We had an early and quite light tea then I went off to church. C came and meet me afterwards and we walked home in the warm evening. Nice still to be wearing short sleeved shirts at 9pm. Yay!
Walking today, 13062, 3/3.
