Portrush parkrun

This gorgeous stretch of sand was the location of today’s parkrun. It was a tough out and back course, running the first 2.5k into headwinds. I managed to finish in exactly 29 minutes.

I walked back to the B&B, where the owners had kindly agreed to give me a late breakfast. After a shower, we then drove the Dark Hedges. I thought it sounded interesting but we were alll very underwhelmed! So we then went to Lake Kilrea so Ethan & I could do an inflatable obstacle course on the lake, After walking along the jetty, there is a short swim to get to the obstacle course, Although we had wetsuits on, I had to psych myself up to get in the water as it was baktic’! 40 minutes later, having both fallen in several times, we admitted defeat. It was just far too cold. Would be fantastic fun in the summer though!

Chippy dinner, then we chilled out in front of Saturday night tv at the B&B.
