First of the Rhododendrons

A full day of working in the garden. It was another amazing day of blue sky and beautiful heat. Rob helped me dig out a patch at the rear of the border and hauled out some ugly old tree peonies that had seeded down over the years.
Then I planted some weigelia I had grown from cuttings from Tom’s garden in Aldershot, so that makes them around 3 years old and definitely ready for planting out.
After that lot we had a martini in the garden!!
