Canal Heron

What a fabulous day its been.  I have managed to get a few things done, but also have been able to take it easy and read plenty of my book.
We went for an evening stroll and saw the heron again who was busy fishing.  Its plumage is totally stunning and so exotic, I have never seen one so close up before so am glad I have the opportunity to admire this one.
